We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Unify Disability Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients with disabilities and/or conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with developmental, acquired mental, and physiological disorders to identify their needs and goals.
- Evaluate and recommend Assistive Technology apparatuses, equipment, or tools to support individuals in their daily lives.
- Develop and implement personalized occupational therapy plans to enhance individuals' functioning, mobility, and access to their community.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, advocates, support coordinators, teachers, and other practitioners to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform home visits to assess individuals in their natural environments, adhering to ethical, legislative, and confidential guidelines.
- Lead a team of graduate practitioners, occupational therapists, and new recruits to provide guidance and support in their professional development.
- Current registration with AHPRA and associations with relevant professional bodies.
- Unrestricted ability to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Full Australian driver's license.
- Current Working with Children's check.
