Senior Solution Architect Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end solution portfolios, identifying and closing solution gaps, and documenting and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ICT solutions, best practices, and service offerings, as well as experience in architecture design within government projects. They will also have knowledge of architecture principles, enterprise technologies, and DevOps.

Additionally, the candidate should have proficiency in architect fields, cloud platforms, microservices, infrastructure, data, and SAP, as well as experience with tools like Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and visualization tools.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be working independently and delivering quality outcomes with autonomy and judgment. You will also be responsible for leading end-to-end solution analysis, design, integration, architecture, co-existence, and migration, as well as aligning work with business processes and overall delivery outcomes.

You will be required to act as a single point of contact for large and complex projects/programs from an architecture/technical perspective, drive innovation, continuous improvement, and manage change, share knowledge and expertise as a subject matter expert, and prepare documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end solution portfolios considering ICT solutions, best practices, and service offerings.
  • Identify and close solution gaps through component inclusion or customer-specific development.
  • Design functional landscapes and solutions to support business processes and customer requirements.
  • Document, present, and discuss end-to-end architecture and solution options, recommendations, and implications.
  • Coordinate cross-process and cross-solution integration points across various software and service components.
  • Lead end-to-end solution analysis, design, integration, architecture, co-existence, and migration.
  • Align work with business processes and overall delivery outcomes.
  • Act as single point of contact for large and complex projects/programs from an architecture/technical perspective.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and manage change.
  • Share knowledge and expertise as subject matter expert.
  • Prepare documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • TOGAF Certification - optional
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks, legislation, policies, procedures, and information management requirements.
  • Substantial experience in architecture design within government projects.
  • Understanding of architecture principles, enterprise technologies, and DevOps.
