Job Overview

We are seeking a Customer Care Professional to join our team at the Animal Referral Hospital. As a key member of our customer care team, you will be responsible for handling high volumes of inbound calls, liaising with referring veterinarians, welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital, booking and managing appointments, invoicing and taking payments, and data entry.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Handling high volumes of inbound calls
  • Liaising with referring veterinarians
  • Welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Invoicing and taking payments – including cash and electronic funds transfer (EFT)
  • Processing payments on veterinary finance platforms
  • Data entry and requesting documents from referring veterinarians and clients
  • Managing email enquiries
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a solid professional background in customer service (minimum 2 years essential) and experience in a reception or high volume call centre environment. You must thrive in fast-paced environments and remain calm under pressure or during busy times and emergency situations. Strong computer skills with accurate data entry are also required.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer-facing roles

  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
