Network Security Engineer Position

This role plays a pivotal part in our network security operations team, driving performance and reliability.
The successful candidate will handle Level 3 escalations, manage vulnerability and maintenance windows, and support the network automation platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Installation, configuration, and upgrade of hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement to optimise performance.
- Identify, analyse, and manage risk at every aspect of work.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
- Undertake project design and architecture work, like High-level and detailed design work.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Coding skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) – primary importance.
- Dev Ops tools: Bit Bucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Git Hub, Terraform, Vault.
- Network Security: Operational expertise in networking, with experience in F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls (Juniper SRX, Fortinet Forti Gate), and VMware NSX.
- Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
