This is a unique opportunity to shape an inclusive and high-performing school community by providing educational counselling and support services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and students across multiple schools.

The role will involve developing and undertaking support service programs to enhance the involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families in education, as well as establishing and maintaining links with out-of-school sources of information and support services to assist in the advancement of these children and students.

As a Community Education Counsellor, you will play a vital role in contributing to the school's culture, values, and innovative practices from the ground up. The college promotes diversity, equity, and a strong sense of community, creating a supportive atmosphere for both students and staff.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Providing educational counselling and support services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and students.
