As a dynamic and enthusiastic team member, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and develop your skills in customer service, merchandising, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Assist in merchandising procedures.
  • Maintain assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through personal interactions.
  • Manage incoming deliveries and associated paperwork.
  • Check off stock against invoices.
  • Restock shelves and displays.
  • Perform general store maintenance tasks.
  • Emphasize a strong culture of safety at all times.
Essential Job Functions
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Frequently operate cash registers.
  • Regularly move merchandise weighing up to 10kg and reaching heights of 1.5-3m.
  • Ascend/descend ladders frequently to retrieve and store stock.
  • Use stock trolleys and pallet jacks regularly for stock movement.
  • Position self frequently to kneel, bend, or stoop in stock rooms and on sales floors.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff via phone and in-person interactions.
Qualifications and Work Skills
  • Recent relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling cash and balancing cash registers.
  • Solid numeracy skills are essential.
