Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia. As a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, you will work collaboratively with our team of emergency medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in accordance with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) Bylaws
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers in a culturally sensitive and compassionate manner
  • Function as an effective member of the multidisciplinary team, including nursing, respiratory therapists, and allied health professions
Requirements
  • Two years' experience working in an emergency department setting
  • Registration as a certified non-registrant as a PA in accordance with requirements of the College of Physicians of British Columbia (CPSBC)
  • English language proficiency requirements
  • Canadian Citizenship, permanent resident, or legally able to live and work in British Columbia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (with current BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Advanced Pediatric Life Support may be considered)
