CareSouth is a community-based organisation dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children, young people, and families.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Specialist Lead to join our Practice Improvement and Quality team in a full-time, 1-year fixed-term capacity.

This exciting role will be responsible for contributing to the design, delivery, and implementation of practice development across CareSouth. The successful applicant will have a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience working in disabilities, early intervention, and prevention/child protection contexts.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as an outgoing and engaging personality. They will be able to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team, with a proven ability to develop resources and facilitate workshops.

This role requires a flexible and creative approach, with a willingness to travel between CareSouth offices on a regular basis. A current driver's license is also essential. In addition, the successful applicant will need to undergo a National Police Clearance and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance number.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and implementation of practice development across CareSouth
  • Develop and deliver expert practice content
  • Coach and mentor practitioners in child and family contexts
  • Review practice and provide feedback to improve outcomes
  • Ensure practitioners are skilled in delivering services that meet relevant legislation and standards

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, including superannuation, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
