Mobile Plant and Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our organization is offering an exciting new opportunity for a Mobile Plant and Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive training program, including industry-leading certifications and hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

The technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working condition and meet safety and reliability standards. This will involve working closely with experienced tradespeople, learning from them, and developing skills and knowledge to become a proficient maintenance technician.

  • Maintaining and repairing mobile plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Working collaboratively with other technicians and tradespeople to achieve common goals
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical trade
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification (e.g., Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology) highly desirable
