We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults on a variety of earthmoving and haulage machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including dump trucks, excavators, dozers, graders, and loaders.
  • Coach and mentor apprentices and trade assistants to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and safety in your work.
  • Work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu, and John Deere equipment.
  • 12 months post-trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large-scale earthmoving equipment.
  • Australian recognized Heavy Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • A proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards.
