Front Office Team Member

We are seeking a Front Office Team Member to join our vibrant and welcoming environment at NRMA Batemans Bay Holiday Resort. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences for our valued guests.

This is a full-time opportunity working across a 7-day roster, with shift times allocated between 8am - 6pm. You will be part of a lead departmental structure, assisting in providing direction and support to the Front Office team under the guidance of the Resort Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all administrative/front office duties are carried out with the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism, aligned with company policies.
  • Assisting the Resort Manager in supporting your team by providing up-to-date knowledge of all accommodation categories, while driving a positive and inspiring work culture.
  • Evaluating guest satisfaction levels, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Welcoming guests warmly, greeting them by name where possible, and efficiently checking them in and out.
  • Assisting guests with special requests, general information, transportation, event tickets, restaurant reservations, and other reasonable requests.
  • Sharing responsibility for the after-hours phone with the Resort Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 2 years) in a Reception/Front Office position in a Hotel/Resort, Customer Service or Tourist Park environment.
  • Relevant hotel/Park experience within the front office environment, including areas of Reception, Switchboard, and Reservations.
  • Previous experience with front office computer and Reservations systems is desirable.
  • Outstanding guest service skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and deliver excellent results.
  • An understanding of rostering (systems) is desirable but not mandatory.
