Job Description:

We invite suitably qualified and committed teachers to apply for the temporary part-time role of Japanese Teacher in our Secondary School. This position will commence shortly and will run for approximately three to four terms. As a member of our Secondary School team spanning Year 7 to Year 12, you will collaborate closely with the KLA Coordinator and Wellbeing Coordinators. Together, they aim to create and sustain an enriching learning environment marked by excellence in assessment, evaluation, reporting, fostering positive interpersonal relationships, prioritising child safety, and ensuring the wellbeing and discipline of our students. You will report to both the KLA Coordinator and the Head of Secondary School, with accountability extending to all aspects of teaching and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Stages 4-6 Japanese to a high standard
  • To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
  • To contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
