We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Sydney working closely with our CFO, David Wright.

About the role and the team

  • As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with leaders across our national firm, partnering with several highly regarded practice groups, and leading a small team to provide practical and commercial advice, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • You'll be responsible for managing the financial reporting function, providing regular updates on business performance, pricing analysis, and tender submissions, and highlighting key trends.

About you

  • A minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services business is essential for this role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or other related disciplines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including CA/CPA.
  • You'll require excellent communication skills to work with internal customers with varying levels of financial literacy, and the desire to mentor and develop junior team members.
