Role Description

The Youth Worker will be responsible for leading and supporting effective learning and teaching programs, promoting the physical health and emotional wellbeing of our students, and maintaining a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with teachers, staff, students, and families to develop and implement tailored support plans
  • Providing guidance and referrals to external agencies to promote student engagement and participation
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with youth in a similar capacity
  • Strong understanding of local First Nations communities and ability to build relationships
  • Qualifications or equivalent life experience in Social Work or Youth Work (or related field)
