Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of cleaning staff at Northern Beaches Hospital. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure staff provide excellent customer service and employ safe work practices
  • Coordinate daily operational activities and prepare task lists and work schedules
  • Motivate, support and train team members
  • Provide daily hands-on support to the team
  • Ensure hospital equipment is well-maintained and clean to meet infection control requirements
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and Work Health and Safety regulations
  • Proven experience developing high-performing teams with a service excellence approach
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
