The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inductions for staff and sub-contractors to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Manage and coordinate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate trades and deliveries on site to meet program expectations and minimize delays.
- Manage the works to ensure program and quality expectations are met, minimizing defects and long-term maintenance issues.
- Manage the works in a cost-effective manner, ensuring value for money and minimizing waste.
- Manage the works to ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards.
- Liaise with sub-contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Deliver the project on time and within budget, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Requirements
- October availability is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager, Foreman, or Carpenter on commercial or residential projects.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues.
