About the Role

This position is responsible for monitoring the parks asset inspection program, assisting with asset data management, and supporting the delivery of capital works.

The successful candidate will provide technical input on asset standards, review landscape plans, and lead on the development of maintenance programs. They will also monitor contractor performance and work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure parks infrastructure meets operational needs and longer-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of parks assets.
  • Maintenance Program Development: Assist with the development of maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Technical Input: Provide technical input on asset standards and specifications.
  • Landscape Plan Review: Review and approve landscape plans and designs.
  • Contractor Performance Monitoring: Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contract requirements.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or higher in Horticulture, Asset Management, or a related field.
  • Driver's license.
  • White Card.
  • Relevant experience in the management of parks assets.
  • Ability to plan, manage, or deliver structured programs and projects.
