About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team in the Northern Beaches area. As a Care Worker with KinCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide cleaning services to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Social Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to our customers, helping them to maintain their independence.
  • Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments and lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Complex Care: Deliver specialized care to customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
Requirements
  • Certification: Hold a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • Experience: Possess at least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • Immunizations: Be up-to-date on all required immunizations, including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza.
  • Transportation: Hold a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and have a registered vehicle for travel purposes.
