Geological Pit Technician Role

The Greenbushes Lithium Operation offers a unique residential setting, situated near the picturesque Darling Scarp.

We are seeking an experienced Geological Pit Technician to join our geology team at the Greenbushes site. The successful candidate will be responsible for geological markups, last pattern mapping and sampling, ore spotting during excavation, liaising with drill and earthmoving contractors, maintaining geology stores, vehicles and equipment, documenting and recording of geological data, conducting any other activity as directed by Senior Mine Geologist, and providing effective handovers to other pit technicians.

  • This role requires a proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to safety. You will need to demonstrate a willingness to contribute toward the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture, computer literacy, C class driver's licence, the legal right to live and work in Australia, and reside or be prepared to relocate to within 30 minutes' drive of the Greenbushes Lithium Operation.

Apart from basic requirements, previous geological or pit technician experience, forklift license, or proficient with Microsoft Office will be beneficial.
