About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition services to clients with diverse needs.

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and office locations. Your role will involve conducting nutritional assessments, counseling, education, support, and planning for clients with mental and physical disabilities, chronic health conditions, eating disorders, and more.

Your responsibilities will include developing Meal Time Management plans, Fussy eating plans, Tube feed plans, Meal plans, and other bespoke solutions tailored to each client's needs. You will also have access to:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Membership with Dietitians Australia (Registered APD)
  • A strong passion to enable people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations
  • Knowledge and experience in disability or related industries
  • A car and driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one before commencement
