Senior Medical Officer Opportunity

The Mount Isa Hospital is seeking a Senior Medical Officer to join its team in the Department of Anaesthetics. The role is temporary and part-time, available for 6-12 months with a 40-hour workweek.

As a Senior Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients and contributing to the improvement of health services through quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical expertise and support to patients and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement programs
  • Promote patient safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licence
  • Completion of Rural Generalist Anaesthesia training program
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence
  • Evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases
