Job Overview

The Yards Person role is a critical position within the organisation, requiring an individual with excellent manual handling skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts is a key responsibility, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a safe working area.
  • Moving pipe bundles throughout the yard requires precision and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Operating pipe benching and painting trolleys involves loading pipe and ensuring it is securely positioned for transportation.
  • Collaboration with colleagues is essential in assisting with pipe movement from benches to trolleys.

Additionally, this role entails general tidying and maintaining a clean workspace, as well as utilising power tools and air tools such as grinders, drills, and pipe bundling equipment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Forklift Licence (mandatory)
  • Australia Work Authorisation (mandatory)

This full-time or casual position operates on an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, with a reliable commute to Brisbane, QLD. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be able to multitask effectively, and demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety.
