Job Overview:

This role is perfect for a seasoned leader who can step up to the plate and manage a service with ease. As an OSHC Coordinator/Educational Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, mentoring educators, and developing their knowledge through training and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the service
  • Mentoring and developing educators
  • Developing and increasing knowledge of current staff
  • Supporting children with additional needs and working closely with educators to develop their skills
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including schools, families, and community members

We are seeking someone with strong communication skills, flexibility with hours, and the ability to manage a small team and juggle administration roles. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, Diploma, or extensive experience in a similar role at a similar sized service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility with hours
  • Ability to manage a small team and juggle administration roles
  • High emotional intelligence and communication skills that allow you to adapt to suit different stakeholders

Requirements include:

  • Current HLTAID004 or HLTAID012: 'Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting' certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current CHCPRT001: 'Identify and respond to children and young people at risk' training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Criminal History Check
  • Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check
  • Ability to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status
