About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lecturer to join our law school. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate programs in law, including the Bachelor of Laws and the Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology with a focus on law, technology and practical skills.
The lecturer will be expected to prepare and deliver classes as well as grade assessments. They will also contribute to the delivery of online offerings, developing and supporting academic programs and working with the academic team in program change and innovation.
In this role, you will contribute to the school's research output, income and impact and assume administrative tasks associated with teaching duties and contribute to school management and administration generally.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Develop and deliver innovative education programs;
- Contribute to the school's research output, income and impact;
- Mentor and counsel students on academic matters;
- Supervise PhD students;
- Doctoral qualification;
- Law degree fulfilling admission requirements for legal practice;
- Admission to legal practice;
- Teaching qualification;
- Experience in key accountabilities such as innovative education, research and teamwork;
- Able to attract research funding or contribute to funded projects.
