Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Maintenance Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior tradesperson to take on a leadership role in the maintenance and repair of heavy earthmoving equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of tradespeople to achieve high-quality results and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Lead and mentor a team of tradespeople to achieve high-quality results and maintain a safe working environment;
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant and equipment to identify and report any defects or areas for improvement;
  • Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and productivity in the workshop;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of projects;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and contractors;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a tradesperson in a similar role;
  • Australian recognized trade certificate in mobile plant; and
  • Extensive knowledge of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground ancillary plant.
