Project Cost Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Cost Manager, responsible for delivering comprehensive cost plans, estimates, and reports.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong leadership qualities. They must be able to inspire and motivate a team, demonstrate a proactive approach, and take initiative in driving projects forward.
A recognised bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, mechanical/electrical engineering, or a related field is essential, along with a relevant professional qualification such as MRICS or AIQS.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing detailed cost plans and budgets at all stages of the project.
- Implementing effective cost control measures to track actual expenditures against budget.
- Identifying and assessing cost risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Leading value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Acting as the point of contact for clients on all cost-related matters.
Senior Cost Managers must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in cost management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
