Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Paramedic to join our team as a Clinical Care Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients and their patrons, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care and support to patients, including triage, immunizations, and other injections
- Assist doctors with patient care and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Conduct preventative and screening procedures
- Assist with patient education and community health promotion activities
- Registered Paramedic with a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role
- Experience in emergency nursing or occupational health nursing highly beneficial
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest and commitment to community-based nursing
- Knowledge of current immunization schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, and enhanced primary care items
- Competence in the use of relevant equipment and software
- Sound knowledge of current legislation, practice standards, policies, and procedures
