About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at UGL's Maintenance & Manufacturing facility in Bassendean. As a key member of our team, you will assist qualified trades staff in the performance of their work, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery of services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople in the execution of their duties, enabling work to be carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Operate hand tools in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Participate in maintenance and overhaul activities on various components, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Perform labouring duties as required, supporting the team in achieving its objectives.
  • Clean and prepare armature & stator cores for rewind, adhering to precise standards.
  • Contribute to Lean practices, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 months' experience on a maintenance site, with a strong understanding of heavy industry operations.
  • An elevated Work Platform Ticket, with the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • A 'C' Class Drivers License, with a strong focus on road safety.
  • The ability to perform duties with high standards in both Safety and Quality.
  • Sound experience in a similar role, assisting tradespeople in a heavy industry environment.
  • A high level of measuring skills and an eye for detail, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • A strong safety culture and attitude towards safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the team.
