About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our team at Mc Arthur River Mine in the Northern Territory. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing daily and weekly schedules that align with our monthly targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating weekly schedules and assisting with monthly scheduling
  • Providing guidance for other technical staff, planners, and support at planning meetings
  • Liaising with Maintenance teams to optimise equipment maintenance scheduling
  • Processing owner for short-term dump design work and inspection processes
  • Ensuring the weekly reconciliation meeting figures are correct and updated
  • Liaising with the projects team to coordinate resources and communicate requirements and interactions at a monthly and weekly level
  • Understanding monthly dumping sequences and dumping construction methodologies to assist in managing priorities, resources, and interactions
  • Ensuring all designs uploaded to Engineering Master or released to Production have followed the correct process and signoffs

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Mining or a similar relevant tertiary qualification. You will have a minimum of three years' experience in mining engineering systems in open pit metalliferous mines, including experience with mine design and scheduling software (Vulcan, Deswik).

Roster and Location

This is a 15 days on, 13 days off roster based at Mc Arthur River Mine in the Northern Territory.
