Strategic Workforce Director

The Director of People and Culture will play a key role in shaping the organisational culture and workforce at Charlton Christian College. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce initiatives that align with the College's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives that align with the College's mission and values.
Provide strategic advice to attract, retain, and develop a workforce and organisational culture aligned with the College's mission and values.
Work with the Executive team to form and implement strategies for staff engagement and development that align with the College's purpose, strategic vision and cultural behaviours.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Foster a positive work environment that supports the College's values and purpose.
Play a facilitative role in recruitment, advising staff and leadership on HR matters.
Be on call to work with the Principal and relevant Executive members to address critical HR matters as they arise.
Requirements
Relevant education and experience in human resources or a related field.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive team and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
