About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Disciplinary Proceedings: Conduct thorough reviews of evidence and submissions, make recommendations for disciplinary action, and prepare draft administrative decisions.
  2. Notice Preparation: Prepare 'Notices to Show Cause' and draft Notices of Decision regarding disciplinary action.
  3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including investigators, inspectors, and legal officers, as well as external stakeholders, such as traders and consumers.
Requirements
  1. Legal Qualifications or Experience: Possess legal qualifications or relevant experience, including the ability to understand legislation and apply it in a regulatory environment.
  2. Analytical and Drafting Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and drafting skills, knowledge of investigative processes, and the application of the rules of evidence, principles of procedural fairness, and natural justice.
  3. Communication Skills: Possess superior written communication skills, with the ability to express complex issues in a concise and logical manner.
  4. Additional Qualifications: Qualifications or experience related to building, surveying, or planning would be advantageous but are not required.
