About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Sales Assistant to work on a Part Time basis (approximately 20 hours) in our store. The successful candidate will have a real customer service focus, be highly motivated and proactive, and have high integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Assist customers with product information, advice, and recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and promotions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retail environment.
- Strong merchandising skills and ability to maintain a visually appealing store display.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Ability to work on weekends and flexible with working hours.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food).
