About Menu Monitoring Roles:

Job Description
  • The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of patient meal ordering systems and be able to effectively communicate with patients to understand their meal preferences.
  • This role requires strong problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating menu-related issues and reporting them in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration with Nursing, Patient Food Services, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Speech Pathology staff to ensure that patients' meal selection and nutritional requirements are met.

Duties include:

  • Ordering diet meal requirements and following dietary guidelines outlined by Nutrition and Speech Pathologists.
  • Investigating and resolving menu-related problems and escalating complex issues as required.
  • Working collaboratively across sites to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient meal services.

Requirements for Success:

  • Previous experience in Meal Management Systems within Health settings is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Nutrition and the ability to interpret dietary requirements/diet restrictions.
  • A proven track record of effective menu-related problem-solving skills is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
