About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Parks and Open Spaces team as a maintenance specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality horticultural and green keeping services to ensure our parks and open spaces are well-maintained and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a variety of park maintenance tasks, including horticultural and green keeping services, to ensure the long-term management, condition, and usability of our parks and open spaces.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed to assist other parks teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies.
  • Ensure correct completion of all necessary administrative functions, including electronic and paper-based tasks.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Class C Driver's License
  • A White Card
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A willingness to obtain a Traffic Control License (TCR)

What's on Offer

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary range of $1,181 to $1,301 per week, plus 11.5% superannuation. We also offer a range of benefits, including free on-site parking and gym, uniform provided, 14 weeks paid parental leave, and access to long service leave after 5 years.
