Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Yard Hand / Scrap Metal Processor to join our team at CG Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and excavators for moving and processing scrap metal.
• Utilize OXY equipment for metal cutting and welding tasks.
• Manage yard inventory and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.

Requirements:

• Forklift ticket and excavator license with proven experience.
• OXY experience (cutting and welding).
• Valid car license.
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable Attributes:

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
