Senior Project Lawyer

Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Lawyer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Senior Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising on legal matters related to native title, major projects and mining work.
- This is a rare opportunity to branch out and broaden your skills on challenging projects work.
- Advising on renewables as well as traditional mining and resources projects from concept to completion
- Involved in the project life cycle from the approvals process including environmental and native title issues through to land access
Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- a genuine interest in native title, major projects and mining work;
- 2-8 years' post admission in planning and environment law, corporate, energy and resources, projects or high end property law;
- solid academics from your LLB;
- strong drafting skills and an ability to think outside the box;
- the confidence to be given a good deal of autonomy while also working closely in a team on large projects.
- A national firm that because of the size of the Brisbane office has a boutique feel (around 30 professional staff)
- No billable hours and a focus on quality work outcomes for clients and manageable workloads for its lawyers
