We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team at Marngoneet/Kareenga Correctional Centre. As a Registered Nurse with GEO Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care to individuals in our correctional facilities.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with GEO Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and professional nursing care to individuals in our correctional facilities. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, promoting the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report on patient progress
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Minimum one year of post-registration clinical experience
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to plan and coordinate patient care
  • Competence in clinical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to contribute to the professional practice within the health facility
  • Competence in written and verbal communication skills
