Traffic Flow Coordinator

About the Role
As a Traffic Flow Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring public safety at construction zones, accidents, and other road disruptions by directing traffic in an organised way.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the movement of emergency response teams, construction workers, and the public using signs and other traffic control devices.
- Give and receive radio updates to coordinate with other road traffic personnel, construction workers, and emergency response teams.
- Monitor traffic behavior and flow to ensure public safety and complete site checks as required.
- Take instructions from crew leaders, foremen, managers, inspectors, auditors, or officials.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Professionally handle public interaction.
- Direct traffic using a stop-slow sign and other traffic control devices.
- Implement traffic control plans and prepare work zone traffic management plans.
- Hold a Construction Induction Certificate.
