Industry Quality Assurance Director

At Australian Industry Trade College, we are seeking a visionary leader to drive excellence in quality assurance and compliance across our industry-based education programs. With a strong background in senior leadership and industry partnerships, this role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organisation.
About the RoleThis key position reports directly to the Director of Industry and will lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and improvement strategies, ensuring consistency and excellence in user experience across our programs. The successful candidate will also oversee compliance with relevant governing bodies' regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Main Responsibilities- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement strategies that ensure consistency and excellence in user experience across industry education programs.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with relevant governing bodies' regulations, industry standards, and best practices applicable to our operation as both a School and an RTO.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver quality improvement, assurance, and compliance standards training that fosters a progressive culture and supports best practices.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Assess and mitigate risks related to quality and compliance and implement effective risk management strategies and contingency plans.
- Industry Engagement and Relationship Building: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and compliance and build strong relationships with external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
- Reporting and Documentation: Quality and compliance performance reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board, as well as quality and compliance recording and documentation.
- Work Health and Safety: Foster a proactive safety culture by integrating safe work practices into quality assurance and improvement activities and leading WHS and Risk Assessment processes across all industry programs to ensure the safety and well-being of young people, staff, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive senior leadership experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach. They will also demonstrate a deep understanding of governance and policy development for industry programs relating to young people.
