Exciting Opportunity in Finance for Property Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Ingenia Communities, a leading Australian property group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing business that owns, operates, and develops a portfolio of Lifestyle communities and holiday parks across key urban and coastal markets.

About the Role

  • This role involves providing financial support to our Development Managers by assisting with project accounting, financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end accounting processes, including accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Complete bank account reconciliation and journals associated with deposits, sales, and settlements on a weekly basis.
  • Review settlement statements for sale of manufactured homes.
  • Prepare commission calculations on a fortnightly basis for payment in line with settlements and commission terms.
  • Work with the Finance team to prepare the audit file to support financial statements and disclosures.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly feasibility review.
  • Upload and validate capex budgets in JDE.
  • Review project cost coding allocations.
  • Track project cash flows compared to budget and forecast.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development and Sales teams.

About You

  • You hold a University Degree Qualification.
  • You have commenced or completed your CA/CPA qualification.
  • You possess excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Property or development industry experience is desirable.
  • Experience with financial modelling and JDE or large ERP systems is also desirable.
