Accounts Payable Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Accounts Payable professional to join our team on a temporary contract. As an end-to-end Accounts Payable specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices from suppliers, managing new supplier setups, handling payment processing, and ensuring timely reconciliation of supplier statements.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices from suppliers accurately and efficiently
  • Manage new supplier setups and ensure all necessary documentation is in place
  • Handle payment processing and reconciliations
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process customer invoices and pro-forma invoices
  • Record customer payments and update accounts accordingly
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment
  • Monthly credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Weekly bank reconciliation to ensure accurate cash flow management
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A solution-oriented individual with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting processes and principles
  • High level computer literacy with strong Excel capability and analytical skills
