Contract Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to lead the contract process for major construction projects.

This role offers a flexible remuneration model, where remuneration is reflected through demonstrated experience and is entirely individualised.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial reports and claims with particular emphasis on subcontractor claims, invoices, and overall project costs in relation to forecasts.
  • Provide analytical research to inform the selection and engagement of subcontractors, including negotiating terms and pricing, and management of performance in alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure existing contracts within the designated remit are managed in strict adherence to policies, procedures, and relevant legal frameworks; this includes maintenance of accurate records, adherence to key contract milestones, and management of performance/obligations as per the contract.
  • The ability to prepare, manage, and evaluate the end-to-end tender process, including drafting tender documentation, managing pricing submissions, conducting negotiations, preparing evaluation and recommendation reports, and reviewing terms and conditions.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience developing, sourcing, and managing contracts within commercial construction environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiations across commercial savings, dispute resolution, variations to terms and conditions etc.
  • A comprehensive understanding of contract law and the subsequent ability to identify and manage risks.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction management.
