Job Title: Auto Electrician

The role of the auto electrician involves ensuring that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely. This includes operating machinery, complying with policies and procedures, responding to instructions from supervisors, effectively positioning machinery, setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards, and carrying out pre-start checks.

  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner to achieve maximum output.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Respond promptly to instructions from supervisors.
  • Position machinery for efficient loading.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the workplace.
  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks on machinery before use.
Requirements:
  • Trade certified auto electrical tradesperson.
  • Proven experience in maintenance of haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environment.
  • Relevant post-trade experience.
  • CAT and Komatsu experience highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Current Standard 11.
  • Aircon ticket.
