Join the City of Mandurah's Water Management Team as an Irrigation Technician and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the city's parks, gardens, and ovals irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake maintenance of irrigation systems in an efficient and effective manner
  • Supervise minor irrigation works projects
  • Participate in the development and improvement of activities within the Water Management Section
  • Support the city's water conservation objectives
  • Ensure Occupational Safety and Health requirements are observed and adhered to
  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Irrigation
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial and domestic reticulation systems
  • Current unrestricted 'MR' (Medium Rigid) class national driver's licence
  • Knowledge of centralised computer irrigation systems
  • Previous experience in a parks and gardens environment
