We are seeking an experienced Senior Building and Construction Lawyer to join our Litigation team in a pivotal role. As an expert in the Building/Construction law field, your role will be a mix of front (contracts and agreements) and back-end (dispute resolution, legislative and regulatory requirements) in relation to both domestic and commercial building matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on building and construction law matters to clients;
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and agreements;
  • Represent clients in dispute resolution and litigation;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building and construction law and regulations;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives;
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's building and construction law practice.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in building and construction law;
  • Strong knowledge of building and construction law and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Knowledge of Practice Evolve and Redcrest is highly desirable.
