Chief Radiographer

The Chief Radiographer functions as the lead professional on duty and coordinates the day-to-day clinical/operational management of Imaging services provided by Radiographers/Sonographers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Radiography team and coordinate the day-to-day clinical/operational management of Imaging services.
• Provide frontline clinical services to one of the specialty modalities, with a clinical workload of 40% over a 12-month period.
• Maintain professional standards by staff under their supervision as prescribed in Divisional protocols.
• Contribute to the development of staff through coordinating department-wide training programs.
• Ensure operational standards are met by monitoring, reviewing, and advising alternative methods.
• Undertake human resources management functions for staff assigned, including management of performance assessment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate imaging services and programs to meet business needs.
• Proactively identify, establish, and maintain partnerships, relationships, and strategic alliances with key external parties.
