Cloud Data Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Specialist to join our global software consultancy on an exciting contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in core Azure Data Analytics technologies such as Synapse, Spark Pools, Azure Data Factory (ADF), adlsGen2, and will be able to implement effective data integration, ETL processes and data storage solutions.

  • Experience in implementation of effective data integration, ETL processes and data storage solutions
  • Experience in Synapse DWH and working knowledge of Synapse SQL Pools
  • Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, CDC, Orchestration and Scheduling
  • Experience with Queuing Solutions / Event driven Architectures
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD tooling including pipeline orchestration, source code control, repository management, etc. Expertise using code repositories leveraging clean merging and branching strategies for build/deployment workflows.
  • Understanding of Azure Analytics Services (AAS), AI / ML
  • Understanding of - Integration Services - Azure logic apps, Azure API APPS, Azure API Management, APIGEE
  • Understanding of consumer BI technologies especially Power BI and ability to optimize underlying Data management infrastructure as per consumer needs.
