About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Principal to join our leadership team at Cloverdale Education Support Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting the school's vision of Growth, Achievement, and Passion, and supporting the implementation of our Business Plan 2024-2026 and Operational Plans.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing effective leadership and support to staff to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for students with diverse needs and disabilities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with staff, parents, and the wider school community to promote a culture of professional performance and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with the Principal to manage curriculum leadership across the school, including working closely with staff to ensure consistent and collaborative practices in teaching and learning.
  • Driving whole-school priorities, including Students' Voice, Towards Independence, Growing and Learning through Play, Quality Teaching and Learning, Reach Out and Come In, and We Work Together.
  • Providing an effective case management approach to supporting students with diverse needs and disabilities, including liaising with external providers and working with special needs education assistants.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong track record of leadership and management experience in education, particularly in special education settings.
  • High-level interpersonal and public relations skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for all students.
  • Capacity to manage staff, physical, and financial resources.
