This role is responsible for sourcing and delivering goods and services on time, at the right quality, and in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain continuity of supply and minimize stock shortages.
- Monitor inventory levels and action priority re-orders where necessary.
- Manage purchase requests, convert service orders, and process returns.
- Source products and services in line with procurement guidelines and negotiate favorable outcomes.
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders to secure timely deliveries.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams and suppliers, including regular review meetings.
- Strong ability to engage with stakeholders and provide excellent service.
- Attention to detail with sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience with Pronto ERP system is essential.
- Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving capability.
- Previous purchasing or warehousing experience within resources/mining is highly regarded.
- A current C-Class Driver's License is required.
- A Certificate III in Procurement or Diploma in Supply Chain is desirable.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
