Specialised Caregiver

HammondCare At Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialised Carer to join our team as a floater or reliever, covering the Moreton Bay region and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent part-time position, offering the flexibility of working across various locations, with shifts available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

As a Specialised Carer, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes, directly improving their quality of life.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing
• Helping with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
• Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
• Assisting with medication

• You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused
• You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in aged care
• You must have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance)
• Ideally, you will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
• You must be flexible and able to meet the changing needs of home care clients

• $29.56 to $32.45 per hour, plus 99c/km and paid travel time
• Full training is provided to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessary
• Secure employment on a 14-day permanent part-time roster
